On July 23, 2024, Kevin gave a magnificent solo recital at the Guangming Culture and Arts Centre in Shenzhen, offering classical music lovers an unforgettable evening. His wide-ranging programme — spanning Mozart, Chopin, Brahms, Ravel, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff — led the audience on a sweeping journey through different eras and styles of classical music, at times uplifting and at times profoundly moving.
Several distinguished piano professors from the United Kingdom, the United States, and Russia praised Kevin as “born for the stage,” commending his astonishing musical expressiveness and control. At the conclusion of the recital, many audience members waited by the exit for the opportunity to take photographs with the young pianist. One classical music enthusiast remarked, “Even someone with a very high threshold for tears could not hold them back tonight.”
